Cronos: The New Dawn is officially getting a physical release for PlayStation 5. Bloober Team announced that the boxed edition will be distributed by Skybound Games in the Americas.

Skybound previously handled physical launches like The Callisto Protocol. They’re now bringing their experience to Bloober’s upcoming third-person survival horror game. It’s a solid move for a title that the studio is calling its strongest original work yet.

“Skybound is a partner with exceptional competences in the field of global game distribution,” said Piotr Babieno, CEO of Bloober Team. “We are glad that we can develop this partnership with Cronos: The New Dawn. This is our strongest original title and we know that it will be another big step in the development of the Bloober Team Group.”

The boxed release plays an important role in Bloober’s wider strategy. It’s not just about offering a physical copy; it also fits into their marketing and retail plans.

Cronos: The New Dawn will launch this fall on PS5, Xbox, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The physical edition gives fans another way to experience the horror, this time with a case on the shelf.
